- Evaluation of your foreign qualification by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)

👩💼 Right to Work on the Critical Skills Visa
- You do not require a job offer to apply initially.
- If you don’t have a job offer when applying, you will receive a 12-month visa to enter South Africa.
- You must secure a South African job within those 12 months.
- Once you have a job offer, you can apply to extend or convert your visa to a 4-year Critical Skills Work Visa, which can be renewed from within South Africa.
- If you already have a South African job offer when applying, you may be granted the 4-year visa immediately.
- Your spouse, children, and other dependents can apply to join you in South Africa.
🏠 Pathway to Permanent Residence
The Critical Skills Visa also provides a pathway to permanent residence. To qualify for permanent residence, you must provide proof of employment in your critical skills field.
