You may qualify for a Short-Term Work Visa if you:
- Are a foreign national intending to perform work-related activities in South Africa
- Have a specific contract or assignment with a South African entity
- Plan to stay and work in South Africa for a maximum of six months

To be eligible, applicants must:
- Apply from outside South Africa
- Provide a letter of invitation from the South African company or organization
- Confirm that they do not intend to take up permanent employment in South Africa
- Show intent to return to their home country after the assignment

- Initially issued for three months
- Can be extended once for an additional three months from within South Africa
- Only one application allowed per 12-month period
